Looking for gatsby party decor with plenty of sparkle? Think gold backdrops, white feathers and little pearl-like details all across the tables.
These ideas give you plenty to choose from, whether you’re decorating a dining room or planning a bigger party.
You can keep it simple or go all out. Start with a few table decorations, then decide whether you want a photo corner, a drinks display or a whole red-carpet entrance!
Gatsby Party Decorations Worth Saving
gold curtains and a photo chair
How cute is this little photo corner? I love the gold curtain with the black, white and gold balloons curling around it.
The empty decorative frames are such a fun addition to the chair.
Try a tall white feather arrangement beside your seat to bring the same look together.
a glowing coupe tower
If you want to go all out with your drinks display, this one is for you. The stacked coupe glasses look gorgeous with golden drinks spilling down from the top.
For a tower this tall, leave the setup and pouring to your venue or caterer. I’d keep the surrounding decorations simple.
black bottles and white beads
I am obsessed with these decorated bottles. The gold glitter around the necks looks so pretty against the black, especially with those long white bead strands.
Mix black and white feathers in your own arrangements. A few fine gold-colored sprigs would be a lovely finishing touch.
a pearl-draped candelabra
This is such a pretty way to dress up a candelabra. The white bead strands loop between the gold-colored arms and hang almost all the way to the base.
If you want to try something similar, use flameless tapers and keep the strands below the candle cups.
a black and gold party panel
Want a backdrop with a little more structure? The tall black panel has gold geometric lines, with sparkling gold panels on either side.
I especially love how the whole setup reflects in the glossy floor.
Use your own party name or year in the middle rather than copying the date shown here.
white feathers and gold tables
This outdoor setup may just be one of my favorites. The tall gold-colored vase holds white flowers and a huge spray of feathers, with bead strands hanging down the sides.
The little flower arrangement beside it is just as pretty. Try mixing tall and low decorations like these instead of making every piece the same size.
black feathers and golden palms
Who says you have to stick with white feathers? This setup mixes black plumes with gold-colored palm shapes in tall gold vases.
The gold fringe backdrop ties everything together.
I love the black feather details on the chair backs too. Keep those if you want to carry the theme beyond the table.
gold runners and glowing candleholders
There’s so much to love about this table, from the gold charger plates to the tall candleholders with their little circular details. White flowers fill the spaces between the glasses.
Start with a sparkling gold runner if you want to try this look. Then add small flower arrangements along its length.
a feather-framed photo backdrop
Calling all photo-corner fans, this is such a fun setup. The Gatsby Party sign sits above a gold fringe curtain, with white feathers and black-and-gold balloons around it.
I especially love the geometric frame. Leave room in front of yours so the decorations frame the photos rather than filling the whole space.
a dancing couple photo board
How fun is this? The dancing couple cutout has face openings, a feather headpiece and ribbons hanging from the illustrated dress.
This gives you a different photo idea without needing another balloon wall. I’d keep the feather and bracelet details because they make the board so much cuter.
black napkins and dark flowers
Don’t want to cover every table in feathers? No problem!
Try black tablecloths with gold-colored chargers, white plates and folded black napkins.
The burgundy, blush and purple flowers are my favorite part. They bring a little color into the black-and-gold setting without changing the whole theme.
ornate framed table numbers
These little table numbers are so pretty. The decorative gold-colored frames surround reflective centers with large gold numerals.
If you’re planning assigned tables, try standing one beside a small flower arrangement. You don’t need a huge centerpiece for this detail to look lovely.
a wall of white feathers
I am obsessed with this white feather backdrop. The framed party quote sits in the middle, with tall gold-colored stands and even more feathers on either side.
Choose a short phrase for your own version so the lettering stays easy to read. The feathers already give you plenty of decoration.
black and gold dessert details
How adorable are these little cupcake toppers? The black-and-gold shapes and white feather details match the decorated cake beside them.
Try displaying your desserts at different heights like this. Keep feathers and other non-edible decorations on food-safe picks away from the frosting.
a vintage car photo spot
This is another fun way to bring a photo spot into your party. The large vintage-style car cutout sits in front of a black city skyline, with gold balloons beside the wheels.
I love that this one brings in something other than feathers. Leave space behind the car for people to pose.
gold-speckled seating cards
If you are looking for a smaller detail to add, this one is for you. These folded black seating cards have white script and a gold-speckled design across the top.
Use the same design for each card, then add your guest names and table numbers. The white lettering is a lovely choice against the dark background.
a gold wall with balloon clusters
This balloon backdrop is absolutely gorgeous. I love the mix of tiny and oversized balloons around the gold square-tile wall, especially the big black ones down the left side.

a sweeping white feather centerpiece
Go big on feathers with this tall centerpiece. The white plumes spread out over a slender gold-colored stand, while small white flower arrangements sit below.

I’d keep the flowers low if you’re using a feather display like this. That way, you can still see both parts of the arrangement.
a mirrored base and bead strands
Here’s another detail to save from the same table pictured above. The round mirrored base holds the centerpiece, candle cylinders and loose white bead strands.
You don’t have to copy the whole arrangement. Try a mirrored tray with pearl-like beads and flameless candles for a smaller version.
a lighted red-carpet entrance
Last but definitely not least, we have this all-out red-carpet entrance. I love the rows of bulbs around the gold-colored arches!
The red ropes carry the look all the way down the hall.
